Shane Minerich

Determined, Energetic, Positive, and Adaptable. These are all words that describe Shane Minerich. Shane has been performing for as long as he can remember. Shane was a theatrical performer from when he could walk and talk. All his life, people asked him what he would do when he grew up, and he never had an answer, hearing from the world that entertainment was such a competitive field. However, when the time came, he told everyone he would prove them wrong. He went off to join a gym in California called San Diego Circus Center. After that, he joined the circus community as a Chinese-Pole soloist in his first professional production called Pirates Voyage. During this production, Shane learned many more disciplines and was selected to help with the creation of the show at a new location. From there, Shane decided that he wanted more professional education in how far his career could take him, so he joined Ecole de cirque de Quebec's DEE program. It has been two years since Shane finished school and started working as a professional acrobat again, this time with Flip Fbrique in their show Six Degrees. Not to mention Cirque du Soleil's Twas the Night Before Christmas. Shane is constontly on the lookout for more exciting opportunities.

Experience

Discipline #1

Hoop Diving

Shane has been training Hoop Diving consistently for the last 4 years. Within this time, Shane has built a large vocabulary of moves, big and small. Shane has trained solo in this discipline and in a duo. He has Now Used this discipline in many shows of the past years, including Twas the Night Before by Cirque du Soleil.

Discipline #2.

Trampwall

Trampwall is Shane's second discipline. On his first contract, Shane learned a full act of trampwall that he preformed for over 2 years. He went on to take this as his secondary discipline during the time he attended Ecole de cirque de Quebec (ECQ). As well as consistent summer training on contract in Fallout with Haut-Vol at Canada's Wonderland. Now in A part time touring show as a soloiet in Six Degrees

Discipline #3

Porting/Basing

Shane has been porting for many years and only started focusing on it 4 years ago, but from then on, it has become one of shane's favorite disciplines. He has used it in almost every show, but most recently, in his trio group, he performed a trio acrobatics number for Flip Fabripue and based all the tricks in Twas the Night

Multi Disciplinary

Shane Has learned many other disciplines over the years in including two years of Russian Swing. He has also Preformed Porting, High Dive, Juggling, Tumbling, Stilts and more. All these disciplines Have left a lasting impact and education in all my main disciplines and he hopes to perform in them again one day.
